I don’t think I need a smaller mask and large is definitely too big according to the size chart.
DON'T trust the sizing tool, trust your face (and how things feel).

Easy enough to buy a single larger cushion and try it, and rest of the headgear is the same.
“Easy enough” at $150 a pop sure.
Are you saying I can put a large size cushion on a medium size frame? I’m pretty sure I would need an entire new mask in size large. I can use the return insurance but what if large is not my size and I’ve already sent back my medium?
The medium is perfect from the bridge of my nose to the little crease between my bottom lip and chin. Perfect until I fall asleep and start moving then it slides up a bit and my bottom jaw relaxes itself out of the mask.

The F20 uses one size frame and headgear for all size cushions. On Amazon, the cushions are under $30 each. The frame fits both AirFit and AirTouch cushions.
Somehow I'm even more confused now.
Some info from users contradicts that of other users and info from the cpap.com folks.
You're saying I can put a large mens cushion on a small 'for her' frame?
When I go to this page and select my size, am I selecting frame size or cushion size? https://www.cpap.com/productpage/resmed ... k-headgear

Sorry for the confusion - I don’t know if the regular size cushions fit the for her frame or vice versa. I have multiple cushion sizes for the regular frame, and they all fit. I would assume that all for her sizes fit the one for her frame also, but no idea if that ext nds to compatibity between the two frame sizes

Why not just make one size frame if it never really touches the face, the cushion is the important piece, and the headgear is adjustable? Is the idea to find the right size frame or cushion? Does the frame even matter then? Why wouldn't I just want the smallest frame possible and then 2 or 3 cushions to choose from?

Here is last nights chart. Looks better than previous nights and I didn't change anything. Funny thing is I don't really feel rested today. As always, any input is appreciated.

I think I've got a loose handle on the sizing of components and fittings. The ordering process from cpap.com is still a bit confusing as are the specs on the product page.

I'd still like to know the difference in size and build between the standard medium and the 'for her' medium. I understand that the small headgear bottom and top straps are roughly 1" shorter but what about the plastic arms on the sides of the frame itself? Are they shorter or lower on the cheek? I feel when I increase the tension on the top straps it also pulls upward and I am curious if the arms being shorter would remedy this.

I had leakage issues --- addressed with a pad-a-cheek anti leak strap.
Link please?
Also I see two masks in your signature. Do you mind me asking which mask you like better and why?
https://www.padacheek.com/product-page/ ... leak-strap I wear it a bit lower on my head than the photos show -- I would play around to get the best results. The strap is not elastic -- so you can crank down as much as (and more than) desired.

On balance, I prefer the Airtouch F20 over the Quattro Air. The AT is more comfortable, fits better, works with the anti-leak strap, and I really like the venting. The QA is easier to clean, a bit more durable, and is less prone to leaks (if I wasn't using the anti-leak strap). It is all personal preference....

What was AHI breakdown on the previous nights you mention?

Based on this chart alone, I'd leave things alone for awhile. Post your charts every day so folks can comment.

Amazon has them for $25. Small price to pay if it means getting the most out of your therapy.

The frame is the same for all cushions, small to large.

It it fails WHILE you're sleeping, then it simply ISN'T perfect!

A pressure range of 11-14 is kind of small, might be worth raising the upper to 16 or even 20.

The machine WON'T go any higher than it needs to but looks like you're hitting that upper limit at times.

That link is for the whole mask (headgear AND cushion), NOT just the cushion alone. And ABSOLUTELY, all cushions work on the same 'mask'.

I'm just guessing here but I would expect there's no difference in the frame size between the "His" and "Hers" versions. Outside of that, different sized cushions absolutely fit the same frame. Anyway a few months from now it won't matter because you'll have grown sick of the F20 and will have a nice little scar on the bridge of your nose (like I have) especially having as tight as you say you do. The F20 was my starter mask and I still can't believe I used for as long as I did..which was bout 7 or 8 months. I tried the Airtouch, which in practice is really sweet at first but...I don't know, it never really took with me...just seemed kinda gimmicky.

F30 is still leading the pack for me. I do still try to give the others a chance and then get irritated with all the leaks and run right back.
Yay :D For no more diaphragm cramps and dozing off while driving!

I can confirm that the F20 "unisex" and F20 "For Her" headgear both fit all the F20 masks - AirFit (silicone seal) & AirTouch (memory foam seal). I have all of it (trial and error 30-day return policy) and everything is interchangeable.
