Hello Guest

Here is a link to the Aussie heated hose. I do not know if there is another one.

For USA and Canada, you used to need to buy a power supply. One comes with it now. (US Approved) I am not sure if any thing else is needed.

I do not have one, like you I am intrested in a heated hose.

There's at least one online store in the U.S. that now carries the Sleepzone heated hose: cpapusa.com

The Australian store where I got mine with free shipping to the U.S. is at the website Selfseeker gave.

http://www.sleepzone.com.au

When you get there, look on the leftside of the page and click "heated cpap tube".

Be sure to scroll down for the price in U.S. dollars. The Australian dollars price will scare ya!

It's a bargain at any price, imho, for doing what it does so well.

I got mine from sleepzone. It does come with everything you need. Hook up the hose, plug it in and you are ready to go. It solved my rainout problems! I need to order an extra one so I have a back up in case something happens to this one. Don't want to go without it!

What about Fisher Paykel's CPAP machine? The newest one has a heated house built in.

If a person wanted to limit his/her choices of cpap machine to just F&P's brand, it might be ok. However, that built-in hose can't be used with other brands of machines. The F&P heated hose can be used only with the F&P CPAP machine, as far as I know.

A good electrician might be able to jury-rig the F&P hose to work with another machine, but I wouldn't want to try something like that. The Aussie heated hose can be used with any manufacturer's machines. The separate heated hose is not that expensive when you think about spending the remaining 1/3 of your life sleeping...in comfort, without "rainout". We spend that much on some masks that don't work!

F&P doesn't make an autopap machine, so a person would also be stuck with choosing only their straight pressure CPAP machine to use their built-in hose.

F&P doesn't make a CPAP machine that offers any kind of exhalation pressure relief, like Respironics' "C-Flex".

Nor does the F&P machine record full data if a person wanted to use software to monitor their own treatment.

Personally, there are a lot of reasons I'd rather have the Aussie separate heated hose. I prefer a separate heated hose that I can use with ANY brand cpap, bipap, autopap, or bipap-auto I choose.
