I give alliefiona props for sticking to those observations,
in spite of their unusual nature, and bringing incontrovertible proof to the doctor.
An odd situation, indeed--and one we can all learn from.
Congratulations.
The wait is not unusual---all the more reason to keep a spare unit handy.
I hope your provider is supplying a loaner.

Those Ants should get a award for passing space training after they finish the ride on the fan compressor wheel (G Force)! They probably just want a ride to another planet, that isn't infested with stupid humans! Jim

Why would anyone put stinking high sulfur water in their machine? :?
JPB

Edit; Silly me. Of course, to keep the ants away.

Some people just like to go to ridiculous extremes in order to prove what they think is a point. :shrugs:

Hijacking an ant post to cover an embarrassing old flummoxing is pretty sad. :(

Three providers: Medical provider, Insurance provider, Equipment provider. They all had to sign off with each other. If I'm lucky the insurance provider will count the cost of a new machine toward my deductible. It's out of warranty but not yet due to be replaced per guidelines, so I'm not optimistic.

Check with your homeowners or renters insurance.
Or your landlord if applicable.

So much for "there's no way an ant would go into the machine" crowd. Same crowd who says stank from high sulfur water could never get into a machine.

Moral of the Story

On the nightstand,

beside the CPAP,

don't let Little Milton

place his ant farm.

Odorous ants come in wherever they please.
My son discovered that the intense smell
that comes from crushing the little devils drives cats nuts.

Pretty good view from up here at the moment.
See, people with brains might be able to figure out that machines aren't necessarily blowing when tanks are installed, or when machines are turned off, or that there are internal parts of a machine including permeable seals that exist between the tank and the hose. I chose not to argue ad infinitum at that moment.

But hey, people who didn't even know smelly water exists know everything else in life... like ant behavior.

Ciao!

Magnificent horses, not that I know anything about horses.

Kind of lost a step with me when Budweiser became foreign owned. They tried so very hard to push a narrative that they're still an American beer. Didn't sit well with me.

I haven't been on a horse since waaaaaaaasy back in the 180s. Never wanted to hurt one.
