Resmed reporting, data, compliance and sleepyhead

Post by Gerryk » Thu Apr 04, 2019 8:24 pm

I live in a large urban area but live two houses from the forest preserve and have a mess of trees in my yard. Without leaves on the trees yet, I barely have one bar on my cpap cellular signal. My cell phone doesn’t always work in the house. Has anyone used any kind of inexpensive cellular signal booster for their cpap? I haven’t gotten one for the phone because a proper fix would cost a few grand to provide a good signal in my house for the family phones, so at this time I am looking for info or suggestions just for the cpap, which I believe they told me was AT&T.

The Resmed feature is close to useless, forget it, use software and your computer for better data download. Jim

If your provider cannot access your cpap signal, they can ask to see your sd card.

What software would I use with this machine and where can I get it?

I thought I had followed the directions. The directions of follow this link but don't do this or that but do this are not very clear for someone who can't read small print well. If what I posted is wrong, I will just delete is because I can't sit and read small print like that.
Thanks

I had posted that but it was scrunched up. Have to figure out how to get it normal looking. I also don't have that data from the new machine.

If I read your posts correctly, it appears your AHI was staying around 0.5 with your old machine as well as your new machine. If your current machine was purchased through your insurance, you may be getting a call from the DME wanting to know if you are using it. If they do call, tell them you can bring the SD card in if they need to verify usage. Other wise, just continue on as you are. The Resmed My Air is more of a feel good thing for new users to encourage them to use their machine. It does not provide any information that is not available on the screen on your machine.

This is from my old machine which was used up until Wednesday when I started using the new machine. New machine didn't have an sd card in it but does now.

You need to sleep with the SD card in the machine without that the data sleepyhead gets is summary only and only tells us your ahi and how long the machine was on so it’s pretty useless.
