Things may improve. Some more pressure may smooth things out more... There's more to sleep disturbances than just AHI. Post another chart or two?
[/quote]
In the chart below I had a nap during the day for 30min and felt terrible when I woke up, I had upped the min pressure from 6 to 6.8 and i felt terrible in the morning so im putting it back to 6 tonight and hopefully will return to feeling somewhat better. Anything stand out in the chart ?

Please review the instructions on how to arrange your screenshots: viewtopic/t158560/How-to-post-images-for-review.html and re-do yours.

My guess is that you need more pressure, and you need to work on your mask leaks... but a better screenshot will give us more info.

Is this chart any better? As for leaks I think this is from when I wake up to use the toilet I just take it off and leave it running then put it back on when I go back to bed. I thought higer min would be better also but when I went up from 6 I felt really bad and had more events. Would this not mean higher pressure isn’t suiting me ?

A little, but you still have redundant pressure charts, and you don't have snore and flow limitations.

Get rid of the mask pressure chart.

Also, turn off the first short session by clicking it over on the lower left panel.

As to "higher pressure not suiting you"... your pressure's getting up to *13*. Based on the way your pressure is bouncing, I think you're going to need around an 8 minimum pressure.

I appreciate your patience palerider, I have attached another chart where my ahi was 0 I still had to get up 3 time for toilet but it’s the best night sleep yet , that’s why I’m changing my settings back to min 6. I appreciate your feed back as this is all new to me.

I appreciate your advice but I felt so bad after increasing the pressure above 6 for 2 nights I need to try and get some better sleep tonight, I will give the higher pressure a try at the weekend when I don’t have to work. I will post the next two night and you can tell me what you think.

Some questions about the nocturia situation.

Are you male or female? If male, are you of an age where the prostate gland starts messing with things?

For either male or female....do you have to go urinate frequently during the day as well as the night?

While nocturia is a common symptom of sleep apnea it isn't the only known cause for nocturia or frequent urination. Might be time to have a chat with the doctor about it. 2 or 3 times a night to get up and pee with an AHI of 1ish...way too many times to put the blame solely on sleep apnea.

I’m male 45 years old, I have had prostate checked and been to a urologist everything normal, sometimes during the day I have to go frequently. Doctor says that’s just the way it is

I didn't follow your first thread, because PLMD isn't something I'd have had anything to contribute.

If you've been taking BP meds
Since my first post on plmd I no longer think that is my problem. I wrongly assumed when I was using my cpap and still waking up to go to toilet 5 or 6 times a night that it must be something else as my doctor said my Apena was under control. But after reading some of the posts here I upped my min pressure from 4 to 6 and only wake up 2 or 3 times to use the toilet which it’s a big improvement but wish I could sleep all night. As for BP med I’m not on any of them or anything else. Thanks for your input
Honestly My bathroom usage went from 3 times a night to not even having to go immediately in the morning when I get up. If centrals aren't involved I'd consider putting it higher... of course if you're overmedicated with blood pressure medicine , which is sometimes a diuretic... it may just be that you need to dial that back.. (consulting a doc of course).
Instead of Sleep apnea it should be called "Sleep deprivation, starving of oxygen, being poisoned by high CO2 levels, damaging the body and brain while it's supposed to be healing so that you constantly get worse and can never get healthy Apnea"

I’m not on any BP tablets. I’m sleeping better on higher pressure but I’m feeling worse, I’m not sure why the higher min pressure is making me feel worse than the lower but I lowered it from 6.6 to 6 last night and still feel bad today. When it was set to 4 min I felt way better but kept waking up during the nigh. I’m going to try 5 min pressure tonight hopefully not wake to much and feel ok tomorrow. Can it take time to adjust to higher pressure , I’m almost afraid to put it up now since I stated feeling so bad?

You're confusing the variances of sleep with the insufficient settings you're using.

You're not experiencing high pressure at any time, but you are experiencing interrupted sleep because your pressure is too low.

Of course your correct, but for some reason on a minimum of 4 feel good in the morning but get up 5 or 6 times at night , then when I increase the minimum to 6.6 I only get up 2 or 3 times but feel way worse. I’m not sure why I feel worse at the min higher pressure, any thoughts ? are you saying I need to go even higher, I’m afraid I will feel even worse ?

Yes, I am.

Be afraid, and do nothing, or conquer your fear and get used to better sleep... Your choice.

Fair enough I don’t think I could feel much worse anyway so I will give it a go tonight at 8 as you previously recommended, I will let you know how it goes. Hopefully I’m an improved man tomorrow, cheers
