In my opinion they are not worth risking identity theft.
The only identity at risk is that of the pseudonym on that specific board.
So long as you use a pseudonym here, use good security hygiene and don't use the same passwords for different accounts, I'm not seeing a lot of risk of ID theft from using apneaboard. You don't store any credit card info, your home address, phone numbers, or even your real name in that account. You are
much more likely to get phished via email, infected from a trojan or malicious link or hacked via IDs and passwords stolen from a direct attack on a service provider (think AOL, Reddit, Experian, etc.) than have your IRL ID stolen from apnea board.
I recommend you add multi-factor authentication to all your accounts that have it available to reduce the risk of compromise to important accounts. I don't consider my apneaboard or cpaptalk accounts in that category.
