has anyone ever heard of anyone using a "dental" made mouth piece that can "cure" your sleep apnea problem? it costs over $1000. to go to be true?

There are many oral appliances. Go to to quietsleep.com There is something called Somnomed that is around $2000.00 ALso you could go to talkaboutsleep.com and they have a dental appliance section.

There is a dental appliance that can be made to treat at least some forms of OSA. I have a friend that has one and the way he explained it to me is that the appliance holds the lower jaw in a position that helps keep the airway open. At least for him the appliance seems to work that is he is not using CPAP Good Luck.

One of the regulars, snork1, on this message board has reported having success with the TAP Titanium, I believe.

Using a dental device isn't a "cure" for sleep apnea, but for some people it can be a successful "treatment" while sleeping.
