has anyone ever heard of anyone using a "dental" made mouth piece that can "cure" your sleep apnea problem? it costs over $1000. to go to be true?

There are many oral appliances. Go to to quietsleep.com There is something called Somnomed that is around $2000.00 ALso you could go to talkaboutsleep.com and they have a dental appliance section.
There is a dental appliance that can be made to treat at least some forms of OSA. I have a friend that has one and the way he explained it to me is that the appliance holds the lower jaw in a position that helps keep the airway open. At least for him the appliance seems to work that is he is not using CPAP Good Luck.
