Post by whatrdreamsmadeof » Sun Sep 17, 2006 7:37 pm

hello,
has anyone out there had experience with the oracle oral interface.........my doctor thinks this may cut down on the face swelling which they thinks is aggravating my sinuses?
It looks pretty easy to use........any mouth breathers out there use it..............thanks, ellen

Didn't work well for me, but some have been able to use it.

Until someone who is currently using it weighs in, here are some older discussions that might give you some insight as to whether you think it might work for you:

I tried one (still have it + a new one).

The problem I had was with the discomfort of the inner piece hurting my gums inside my lips. It was such a high level of discomfort that I wasn't willing to persist.

You do realise (I assume,) that you have to stuff plugs up you nose to prevent nose breathing while you wear the oracle

Good luck

xPAP and Quattro std mask (plus a pad-a-cheek anti-leak strap)

I had the same problem, it actually split my gum. My mouth was also very dry with my humidifier turned all the way up.
