Greetings! If you could post a little more info, like the brand or model of mask you have, there's bound to be folks with that model that can give you some good advice. If you're referring to a full face mask (the oral mask), I think they tend to be a little harder to fit without leaks as everyones faces are so different but again, there are a lot of helpful folks here. I tried the Oracle mask. Problem was it kept blowing the nose plugs out my nose. Couldn't figure out how to stop nose breathing. The strap doesn't have much an impact on it. It really gets adjusted by inserting part of it between yoru lip and gum and the other piece compressing on your outer lip.
Will take some to get used to it and some have had gum problems develop using it. I keep it around for when my nose gets stuffed enough I don't need nose plugs.
