Well...insurance only cares that it be used at least 4 hours and who cares if it takes 2 people to get the 4 hours. And with one machine there's only 1 compliance issue to deal with.
Tell the DME the truth if there are any questions.
It's not an ideal situation to have one machine and 2 people using it but it isn't an impossible situation either.
Evaluating the therapy will take a little extra work but again it isn't impossible.
Hopefully the 5 to 15 settings will work well for both but if it doesn't there are ways to fix that little hurdle too.
Nothing is impossible if someone wants to do a little extra work.
But I wouldn't mess with 2 cards...just use one card because they are going to end up with pretty much the same data on them anyway.
