I think the pace of Republican defections from the Trump cause will pick up after his most recent remark today:
“Hillary wants to abolish, essentially, the Second Amendment,” he said. “By the way, and if she gets the pick—if she gets the pick of her judges, nothing you can do, folks. Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is, I dunno.”
Obviously a joke, not a serious proposal, and that is how the crowd behind him seemed to take it. I expect Trump to react with the show of wounded innocence in the style of someone who has just delivered a dirty double entendre. "What did I say?" Still, it is alarming to think of any presidential candidate joking about altering the outcome of an election with lethal violence. For all we know Henry II was just making a little joke. I doubt Trump drops out, but this will provoke an outcry (not that it will last long) and give a few more wavering Republican politicians and pundits an excuse to distance themselves.

What does this have to do with anything? So Bill had an "affair". Hillary chose to get over it and go on with her life. She handled it her way. She isn't the first.

Please don't bring up Bill... he isn't running for POTUS.
How else could he come close to having a THIRD term? You haven't figured that out yet?

"AN affair?" Rape is not an affair. He makes Bill Cosby look like a Sunday school teacher.

I don't see a problem or any reason for him to back away from it.
The 2nd Amendment was put there for a VERY good reason and it protects all the others and the Constitution as a whole.......from tyranny.

Hillary said "all rape victims deserve to be believed" Unless of course, they are accusing Bill, then she attacks them personally.

I doubt that Bill will be left out of the discussion since if it were not for Bill, we would not know Hillary's name.

As a Trump supporter, I am disappointed in his seemed inability to control comments like this; however I find it less disturbing than listening to Hillary lie three times last week about what the FBI director said about her email server when the truth is available for anyone to view on the FBI.Gov website

https://www.fbi.gov/news/pressrel/press ... ail-system

This doesn't even take into account when he was questioned directly about things she said he stated they were false.

I have, however written Trump and said I work too hard for my money to give it to someone who will throw it away like he is. Almost makes you think the whole thing was a plan to get Hillary elected

He probably would be, but it would be for political expediency. If a GOP lied 3 times in one week about what the FBI Director said about them, do you think the Dems would be silent?

Really Flightco, comparing the situation with the emails to what sounds like an assassination threat by Trump? Shaking my head.

Believe me......I've been screaming "bloody murder" at the lies the Dems and the lamestream media have been spewing.
The media is totally "in the bag" for Hillary and they make no bones about it.
Even when they call her out on the lies she told to Chris Wallace about what Comey said, it doesn't stay in the news for long.

And some people wonder why the Congress and the media are despised so much.........
They're all afraid of having the curtain pulled back (like in the Wizard of Oz) and being exposed for being the scumbags that they are.
Again, these are precisely the reasons the founding fathers put the 2nd Amendment in the Bill of Rights.
Why do you think that BHO has been the biggest reason that the firearms sales have gone through the roof in the last 7 years? He's been the best firearms salesman.......EVER!
We just hope it'll never come to that.

It's actually a "FACT". Manufacturing and sales have exploded in the last number of years.
Every time he opens his mouth, sales have gone up. The "citizens" of this country are SCARED!!!

On previously reported statements........

It's not often I agree with anything the Washington Post says, but they got that first one right.

The one about the guy sitting behind Hillary sort of speaks for itself.

Conservative News Network (I mean CNN) would have it as the leading story.
