You have two posts in this thread, neither have added anything positive. You need to take your own advice.

I'm guessin' that you mighta' missed the mother of all squanderings that was lavished on the troll, Enchanter. People were lined up for a city block for a chance to wet nurse him. It dragged on for months and thousands of posts. I really hope this go-around isn't similar, being that a lot of people in real need were short-changed due to the all consuming fascination w/Enchanter's defects and foibles.
+1

I tend to take this seriously. OTOH, this individual seems to not be very willing to take the advise she was given. But she wouldn't be the first to play a mean hand of "yes but". I think the advise to help her was given, if she would be willing to take it.

I've had some forum members speculating (to me) that they've thought that "Snoopchic" is actually "palerider"........

How's THAT for a conspiracy theory???

I do hope you all continue to sleep well at night and don't loose sleep over attacking me when I came here for help. I have read every post and tried to use the information. It still does nothing for the anxiety. It didn't help me in any way. It doesn't give me $500-$700 to buy a machine that I can't stand. I have done every thing asked of me by my doctor to try to make things work. And came here for help as I do not have anywhere to turn. I thank the Lord I'm not depressed, the way every here is acting when I came to you for help would have pushed me over the edge. I have cried several times over the responses I got on here, but have been so desperate to find some kind of answer I came back. I have no idea what a troll is, but I don't think I am. I'm simply looking to see what I can do. I'm sure me responding will yet again cause many people to attack me...I just hope you are only this mean online. I, not only did the first sleep test with great panic. I also managed to make it to do the second with the CPAP. It's great that everyone here thinks that thing is good. But at least half (and some report up to 80%) of people prescribed one quit because of the discomfort. Or they never get it because of the huge cost. And it's great that everyone else can afford that, but no my sleep is not worth that amount of money. I told my doctor many times I do not have the money to pay for much. I had to drain my savings for the studies. Yet he laughed me off and said "it's not nearly as expensive as you think." It was way more than I would have ever expected. Again, I'm not here to make people upset, but obviously I'm causing all sorts of great humor for you all. And I'm very disappointed in my search for help. I did go to the other board, but couldn't find anything. Like everything else, I always do look into info I'm recommended.

Old saying... You usually get what you pay for. You may, someday, find something online or elsewhere that claims to be 'the' answer to OSA - 'cheap', but I will also guarantee you'll end up with cheap therapy as a result.

You said you read all the postings, but apparently not, because I told you we could help find a very inexpensive, if not entirely free machine. I told you we could help set things up re pressures, etc. And others have said similar things. You said "my sleep is not worth that amt of money" presuming you meant a few hundred dollars. That is the saddest, most utterly misguided thing I've ever read, and frankly the most appallingly ignorant.

You asked for help, we gave you the best advice we know how to do, even if it's not what you want, and have had no thanks at all for doing it, only a tirade.

Good luck to you... you're so going to need it.

Snoopchic; as long as you treasure your excuses more than anticipating what you could achieve,
and refuse to put forth the effort you need to attain success, you are, and will remain, lost.
Get help, where you have been directed, instead of trying to gain sympathy here.
If you care about your child, you will put your fear/laziness aside, and DO SOMETHING!

You did say something about that. While you were talking bad to me and saying I havent researched anything though I have been spending roughly 8 hours a day every day for a week since finding out about this. I didn't mean to say it can't cause a stroke, more that there is zero proof it does. Every single thing I read, and my doctor agreed, says it "may" cause them. They have no idea at all because those people are already at high risk. There is nothing that says it caused it. Just the fact that someone has both things. So, I did read where you said we know how to get machines cheap...but you didn't offer the information, so I assumed if you wanted me to know, you would have said it. Not taunting me with that you know something and too bad for me, which is how I took it :/ it's not like I haven't "learned" anything here. I simple haven't gotten anything they can help me. I can't go back to find a new therapist because I can't afford $50 an appointment either. I understand I have panic attacks with this horrible thing. But I've never had them like that before. The only other panic I have is the dentist. I have not ever been able to breath with anything near my face, but I've never had panic at it.
