Has Anyone Tried This New Device??

Post by corvallisgrace75 » Thu Jun 11, 2015 6:39 pm

My girlfriend is wondering if she may have sleep apnea. Hell, since I started telling friends that I was diagnosed with it, several of them have started to wonder if maybe they have it, too. Doesn't hurt to get it checked out! Anyway, my friend found this really small new version of a CPAP. Now this, I like. Just curious to know if any of you have tried it. Or even how available it is. It seems too new for the insurance companies to be sold on it yet. Hmmmm???

Thanks, LSAT. I'll search for the thread. I'm happy with what I'll be getting. But these seems very promising. I read the comments at the end of the article and people were like, "Sign me up! I'll be a test case!"

I bet Pale Rider can get one on the black market. He's got his hook ups out there. Haha! As my doctor told me, having my enormous tonsils removed would cut my awakenings in half-- thus putting me in the "normal" category and removing the need for me to have a device. Interestingly enough, when I had a raging bout of tonsillitis 11 years ago (yes, they were practically touching....I was struggling to talk in the day time!), my ENT then suggested getting them out. Quite frankly, I'm afraid of surgery. It would have been fine when I was 5, I'm sure. I wish they had done it then.

I researched and researched back in 2004 and found this new laser procedure that they use. I asked if anyone did the procedure, would my insurance cover it, etc. Nope! 11 years later in 2015, I find out that it's practically the standard method for removing tonsils. My current doctor said that he could have learned to do it as part of his practice, but he decided to leave it up to the ENTs. Even though getting my tonsils removed might remove my need for a CPAP, I'm still not sure I want to go down that road. Time will tell!

craigslist doesn't usually have magic fairy dust fantasies for sale... well, at least not on the sections I look at.

Ok, found it... I can get several of them, I found some leprechauns that have them for sale on craigslist.

they're stashing them next to their pot of gold, so just follow the next rainbow you see, and when you meet up with 'em, DON'T try to steal their gold.... but if you have some shoes that need fixing, they can probably handle that. they won't tell me how much the noseplug things are, you'll have to negotiate with them yourself.

They have them on sale, on the dark web, but they want Nigerian money, your first born for a slave, your social security number, and bank routing number. Limit 7, separate shipping. Jim
