Since there would be no need to generate purge flow (designed leak), right off the bat you'd be saving about 35 LPM.

BTW, I just changed the title of an OLD thread to "New MiniCPAP Looks for Crowdfinding!"

Good Luck!

I just got my latest newsletter from cpap.com. Guess the subject of the last topic.

"Have You Heard About the Airing ?"

In this case I thing the word crowd-sourcing should be replaced with crowd-scamming.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

Obsessed? Nah. Almost like creative thinking, Morbius. Can you expand the thought to help out postitnote? There's gotta be a way to turn off those woodchucks.

I'm still thinking Kool Aid; but the battery problem might be surmountable with the use of a joule thief circuit.
Then my thoughts come around to fire hazard--held a hot battery? Seen one smoke? On your face, in your nose?
No wonder they need crowd funding. The safety testing has got to be massive.
Still, they are talking two(+) years out. I bet it will still need headgear. "Nose buds", my eye.
Ear buds can HURT. Now shove one up your NOSE. OUCH!

I have yet to find a pair of ear buds that will stay in my ears. I've tried several kinds. I use my over the ear Bose ones.
You never used a Nasal Aire did you?

I don't use ear buds at all. They kind of don't work with a hearing aid.
Besides, ear buds have always HURT!
I just got skullcandy lowriders on clearance from a closing Radio Shack. $9.
I can shift the right cup behind my ear to hit the mic on my hearing aid,
and wear the left cup normally. My hearing is only so good, so my price is not so high.

Still need headgear, yep. And unless they're onto some kind of remarkable new battery technology, still need a power cord too. AND a greatly shrunk down but effective blower. Or else they'll need to fall back to attaching a nice long air tube like we all use! I wish them well, but . . .

Excellent Kathy!

ChunkyFrog, The Bose were a gift. I don't think I cold ever be tempted to spend that much money on earphones.
