STICKY....Having trouble getting in this site

Post by Suresh555 » Tue Jan 19, 2021 2:48 pm

For past 2 days I have been getting a message about being redirected too many times and to clear cookies to get in. Can anyone help fix it?

Oh great.

I had hoped I caused my one-off experience of this, but I have seen it as well. I thought it happened because I clicked the 'back' button but didn't want to go back so I clicked a link.

I have only seen it that one time (today) ... but I hope this isn't a trend.

I've been receiving that error this afternoon in Safari, but have been able to browse and post with Chrome.

Interesting ... I use Chrome pretty much exclusively.

I was using Samsung internet on my tablet. After it stopped working and after several times retrying I went on my pc and tried Firefox and edge but no luck there as well. Google suggested clearing cookies on Chrome even though I never used Chrome. After 2 days and after clearing cookies on Chrome, it worked in Chrome. Samsung internet still does not work. I hope Chrome continues to work

Yep...

Been getting the same errors for the past couple of days as well (using the latest edition of Chrome).

Maybe AWS heard there was a Trump voter in here and is going to de-platform CPAPTalk...

(sorry, couldn't resist that last one)!

Happened again, this time on my phone (still chrome though).

Both times closing the tab and using a new one fixed it.
Our poor site :(

Pugsy Having the same trouble getting in this site

Post by palerider » Wed Jan 20, 2021 1:16 pm

Pugsy asked me to let y'all know that she's having the same problem, consistently, which is why she's not on as often as she'd like to be.

I've been having the same issue on Safari and Chrome. I managed to get in today on Bing. I HATE Bing and want to delete it from my PC, but now I'm glad I have it.

This is the message I get:
This page isn’t working
www.cpaptalk.com redirected you too many times.
Try clearing your cookies.
ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS
And I cleared my cookies which makes me have to re-log in to lots of other stuff. But it didn't fix the problem.

Janknitz,
Are the links to the blog in your signature your blog?? Great info in there but a bit dated...

Yeah. Finally got back in too. Thought I was banned for awhile. Got in using incognito mode on chrome on my iPhone. Something definitely wrong though.
