Thank you for that, working but with mixed results.
i keep a text file open with both links. when one fails, i go to the other.
Zonker, by text file do you mean a txt file converted into a openable link or do you mean two links you can click on from the text file?

My current solution is to use Brave browser as it works and copy snoozed or links from Chrome that wont open tediously into Brave. Just tried a extension called open in brave but requires another file install separately which i don't know and am not to keen on for that reason.

Brave is chrome based and has been good and reliable, i use multiple browsers. Some sites need Chrome or Edge and don't support Brave, banks, govt etc. I also use Chromium which works well except for extension issues and not so much these days Vivaldi. I used Opera a lot and Opera GX, but have moved away from them with developing performance issues, privacy and Chinese ownership involvement concerns. I prefer Chrome based browsers as there are a set of extensions i like to use. Firefox feels spongy and was once my preferred browser but became too resource heavy many years ago, especially when literally using hundreds of tabs, up to and over a 1,000 in Firefox. Also, updates in Firefox killed my preferred extensions. Given an overall choice, Microsoft Edge, I have it and the original edge dev updated running side by side, worked terrifically, until i over tabbed them both (one with 3,000 at last count). Refer to tabs above and my laptop is a 6 year old cheapie, which is why i am using Brave and Chrome mainly again. I am unwilling to reset them to fix them and lose data. Tried installing a third Edge but kept updating existing only, so no dice there.

To illustrate the error link point, I used Chrome from a working bookmark to see your left message in notifications, but when clicked on your message link in Chrome, error message, so i copied it across to Brave, and it opens, Chromium works too.
