New Trilogy User Needs Help!!! Anyone??
New Trilogy User Needs Help!!! Anyone??
We have a new member with some serious medical issues using a Trilogy. I am WAY out of my element when it comes to trying to help other than specifics on where to find things on the Trilogy.
Can any of you offer up some assistance to this member?
viewtopic/t97397/saturation-C02-levels- ... o-use.html
She just told me via PM that she is using the same mode as I am -- S/T with AVAPS enabled. Beyond that, I am not sure exactly what her settings are. But I am scared to do too much because her medical issues are serious.
Below is a new thread from Indi's Gmomma with test result information:

Re: Sludge, -SWS, Pugsy - Can Anyone Help?
I have seen the posts. The problem is way beyond my comfort level to offer any ideas.
I am not even sure what the problem is ...much less fix it. It's not typical OSA or even CSA, from what I gather, and more of a respiratory issue with the imbalance between carbon dioxide and oxygen that may be caused by something other than sleep apnea...or at least sleep apnea hasn't been confirmed and the Trilogy trial was a stab at trying something.

Re: Sludge, -SWS, Pugsy - Can Anyone Help?
Thanks, Pugsy. That's kind of how I feel as well. I am happy to offer up help on the Trilogy, but when it comes to changing the settings because of the issues she's describing, it's way beyond my experience and comfort level as well.Pugsy wrote:I have seen the posts. This helps a great deal, just knowing its not normal is very helpfull and confirms our thoughts something is wrong here, just wanted to rule out the easy stuff, but being so new to all this we just weren't sure thanks
Re: Sludge, -SWS, Pugsy-Trilogy Can Anyone Help?
Bump - so it doesn't go off the page.
Robysue has been wonderful and offered some great insight and suggestions. Maybe if we all pull together and can get ideas, Indi's Gmomma can get her medical team to make this better for her!!

I wonder if the Trilogy people might have some tech info they could share with the doctor.

Re: Sludge, -SWS, Pugsy-New Trilogy User. Help?
Another bump -- sorry to keep doing this, but I am hoping Sludge sees this and takes an interest. I'm hoping he might have some good insights.

No need to be sorry.
It is important enough for that action.
And, hey, I just saved you another bump.

Kind of like asking how many people on the forum have done a valve job on a Lamborghini. Not an impossible question, but tough one. I hope that person gets the info they need.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.
Re: Sludge, -SWS, Pugsy-New Trilogy User. Help?
This is true. But there are a handful of people that have some pretty good insights on situations like this (Sludge, -SWS, Pugsy) being the ones that came to mind when I was writing the original post.Sir NoddinOff wrote:Kind of like asking how many people on the forum have done a valve job on a Lamborghini. Robysue, JohnBFisher, jnk -- thank so much for offering input on it even though I didn't mention you all specifically. I know that Indi's Gmomma appreciates all the input she can get.

Re: New Trilogy User Needs Help!!! Anyone??
I am bumping again. We've got her a bit better with a lower Backup Rate, but she still is nowhere near dialed in....

Re: New Trilogy User Needs Help!!! Anyone??
No, I'm no angel. I just know what it's like to be in Indi's Gmomma's situation and I was lucky enough to get a lot of help when I got here. I'm just trying to help her get the same help I received.chunkyfrog wrote:Madalot, you are so sweet. Imdi's Gmomma has an angel indeed.
You have but it's not necessary. Just trying to help the way I was helped.Indi's Gmomma wrote:I couldn't agree more, and I believe I even mentioned it in a pm
