You should be able to use SleepyHead if you are using a 750 model...are you getting any messages at all?
What version are you using?
Are you going to the P Series folder to obtain the download or stopping at the root drive letter where the SD card is sitting.
If you are going to the P series folder you have gone too far.
If your model is a 60 Series heated hose model..SleepyHead needs version 0.9.3
If your model is a 50 series you need version 0.9.2-1

If you don't have a PR System One machine by some chance..SleepyHead won't work at all but it will work with the PR S1 machines.

Are you able to use EncoreBasic now?

On the bottom of the blower unit there should be a sticker with an 8 digit number which is code for year/month/date.
Example would be 20130101...that is manufacture date. in this case Jan 1, 2013.
On that same sticker there should be another number that is the model number...in Germany you may have letters preceding it or even after it...but it is on the same sticker.
You may have a fourth digit...we don't here in the US but you might have one.

I'd like the download link for the Encore software also.

Thanks.

My unit has the name 'BiPAP A30 S' of respironics.
- yes, I can now finally use Encore. (Thanks!)
The blower unit has the code: SN - B05718698 9740

Ah...I suspect that your German machine has a different file structure that is not compatible with SleepyHead.
You have Encore up and working so I wouldn't worry about SleepyHead anymore. It very well may be simply incompatible with SH.

Basic is 22 MB in size
Pro uses the mega hog SQL database which often causes failed installs. Over 300 MB in size with a high failure to install rate and guaranteed to cause headaches.

The reports are identical...exact same detailed reports.
You gain nothing by using Pro unless you are DME and even then I haven't seen any big difference. The patient section if you were a DME and needing to maintain a large volume of patients..maybe Pro. Otherwise you gain nothing by using Pro except maybe some extra stress. I have both available for my PR S1 machine. I haven't opened Pro in so long I might as well remove it.

They are both horribly slow.. when compared to SleepyHead.

Thanks, Pugsy. Do we now have access to the Sleepyhead version that does not need the patch for some of our cards?

Thanks again,

Dreaming

The Patch file for SleepyHead is only needed for the PR S1 60 series machine users.
Otherwise the regular SleepyHead version will work just fine for the 50 series and there's no need to get the Patch file.

For the 50 series machines...need version 9.2-1
For the 60 series machines the version needs to be 9.3 so the basic 9.2-1 version then the update with the Patch file to make 9.3

Right now no way for 60 series machines to get data without the Patch.

PM sent. With Windows 8 you have to go about installing differently.
EncoreBasic's installer is not compatible with Windows 8. There is a work around...so I explained it in the PM.

I've got a PR S1 BiPap AutoSV and Sleepyhead used to work for me (on Mac OSX) but stopped working about 6 months ago . Could you send me the link to EncoreBasic? I'd run it on Windows 7 under Parallels on my Mac, since I presume there isn't a native Mac version. Much appreciated!

Oh Pugsy, another request for the EncorePro 2.4 software (for win 7 x64), please.
My faithful Breas i20 macine developped some error and yesterday my DME got me a new PR REMstar Auto System One.
Thanks
Dan

Give me a couple of minutes and then check your PM box.
You don't want Pro 2.4...it's long since been outdated and if you have a 60 series machine it won't work anyway.

You can also use SleepyHead though...links in my signature.
If your machine is a 60 series machine ...you will need the Patch file to make it work.
Patch file explained here. Here's a quick hint about installing SH...install with the "run as administrator" command umbrella and save some headaches with the update.

Thanks for the quick reply
As far as i can see the model is a 561P, so i'm hoping that no patches are required.
Thanks again
