Here is the correct link again. The link you clicked on was the old link.

I'd love to enroll, but the link you provided is OOO (out of order). Write me a response at allsystems@mail.com, please.

Chris, when I open that link, the top pull down bar shows the my current status as Active (Op-in). Could you please verify and send me a pm? The reason why I ask this extra step, is that I thought I enrolled once, and then I started getting a steady stream of commercial emails proclaiming the benefits of every sundry items cpap shop had in its warehouse, 'peripheral products like aroma, and candles, and ...', and I opted out of the email. At that time, I had thought I was forced to opt out of the trial too. If I can be in the trial, but not get the other regular ads, I am interested in the trial, otherwise not. So what is my current status

Those type of emails would have nothing to do with the Product Trial System here. If your status says active and all fields are blank, you probably have not signed up. If your status says active and your info is filled out, then you have signed up. I know, haven't had time to spec out a better way or copy for the new Product Trial Enrollment area, yet. We will get to it as soon as we can. Bigger fish to fry at the moment.

Hi I am new to all this cpap stuff (diagnosed 1.5 months ago, on cpap for 1.5 weeks), but I am interested in joining this trial group. However, when I click on the link included in my email invitation, or the link listed here, I get an error message that the page can't be found. Is there a problem with the link or with my browser?

Thanks!

I am working on changing that email. I apologize for not getting to it sooner. It is on my list for tomorrow.

You must be logged a registered member of CPAPtalk and logged in to get to it.

OR
Top left of this website is the User Control Panel. If you go there, and click on the Profile Tab you can find the Product Trial Enrollment.

Sleeppunk - the drop down boxes on the Product Trial Enrollment page didn't work. That is, there was nothing to select from in the drop down box (for the masks), and for the machines, there was no drop down box at all. I can send you a screenshot if you like.

I tried to register, but can't tell if it "took" - the last 3 "drop-downs" didn't work and when I hit the final button, it just showed me the application again. Sounds like a great program, I would love to be a part of it. Any way to verify registration?

johnnygoodman wrote:Greetings CPAPtalkers,

If you would like to become part of a pool of patients which CPAP manufacturers can call on to trial products they are developing, you can enroll here:

cpaptalk-trial-questionaire.php

We view this as an "everybody wins" situation:

Patients can try new products early and have a voice in their development and quality.

CPAPtalk can introduce manufacturers to a new kind of patient, profit by administering the program and develop a better CPAPtalk.

Manufacturers who need a large group of "super patients" to provide good feedback can have access to them.

Here are some ground rules:

1. You are allowing CPAPtalk to release the information you give when you enroll to CPAP manufacturers who request it. Typically, people are very protective of this, if you feel uncomfortable please don't enroll. Also, we will always opt you out on request.

2. You can be involved in only one trial at a time and will have to sign an NDA with the manufacturer conducting the trial. This means absolutely no posts/PMs/etc on CPAPtalk about the new products. We will police this as the big boys spend millions on their products and we take their trust in our word and the word of our users very seriously.

3. CPAPtalk will profit from this if it is successful and you will be supporting CPAPtalk by enrolling. If you are uncomfortable with this, please don't enroll.

4. Manufacturers are allowed to use your information for conducting their trial only. No after marketing is allowed. If they don't agree to this, they can't pick from our pool of enrolled trial participants. When I asked for cpaptalk opinion earlier, many made it clear that this is very important. I've taken a hard line to ensure that this wish is honored.

I think this will make CPAPtalk stronger and the CPAP industry better. I hope you agree and enroll!

Johnny

The site doesn't work yet. After you complete the form and answer all the questions and click on accept...you get an error message!

It appears to be working fine to me.
I was able to register and it kept track of the machine and mask usage.

(note that it does leave the drop down boxes at select mask.... however if you look right above it you will see in text the previously submitted data).

I got an Error message again first attempt, (code on some line is too long) I think the next attempt took.
