I just watched this video for the 5th time
About how to remove the foam from the Phillips System One
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SQnJAF3bm98
around 7 minutes into the video is the important info
on the Phillips System One...the air does not pass through or over the sound dampening foam. The air intake is completely isolated from the foam. So WTF?
Please watch the video yourself and take a good look when the machine is apart, and especially when it is put back together...you will see what I am talking about.
I watched the video and another one

The air input clearly goes over foam.
Bottom of unit showing foam below air intake. Note the air pathway is a different color showing the effect of the air on the foam.

Underside of engine housing showing there is no bottom to the air pathway, the bottom is the foam the casing sits on top of in the prior picture

Even just peering into the intake for my System 1 with a flashlight and looking to the right I can see the foam the air travels over.
Please stop calling people sheep, it makes you sound like an alt-right anti-vaxxer wacko.
