When you put the mask on, you turn the smartphone timer off. Simple.
What would you like to see in the next generation of CPAP devices?

You would need to install an app for that, and it would need to communicate (via bluetooth or other means) with the CPAP to tell of you're using it.

You have both been served by C-Granny

That is something more for an exhausted newbie to remember to do. At midnight local time (based on satellite or cell tower), an alarm should go off if the machine is powered off or if it is no but the mask is not attacked (which it already knows). The time should be overridable and the feature should be disableable, but it should be on and set to midnight when the machine is delivered.ChicagoGranny wrote: ↑Mon Aug 19, 2019 7:49 amWhen you put the mask on, you turn the smartphone timer off. The whole point of new features is to make things easier for the end-user and the easier for the end-user means they are more likely to engage in the behavior. we should be open to all ideas that support people in using sleep therapy to help them be healthier. Not sure why you are so interested in being so dismissive, slamming people's ideas and putting them down.ChicagoGranny wrote: ↑Mon Aug 19, 2019 7:47 amWhen you put the mask on, you turn the smartphone timer off. Granny, you need to quit. They are only making it worse.
I would call them Rube Goldbergs, but Rube's devices worked.

ROFLOL! Such fantastic detail, down to ammo type! You win the internet for today!ChicagoGranny wrote: ↑Mon Aug 19, 2019 10:21 amAdd a feature to the machine that fires a single 7mm-08 Remington (Winchester Ballistic Silvertip) into the patient's foot when he attacks the mask.
