If it's an index, it should be the total, divided by number of hours slept.

For example: BR Arousal index: The number of breathing related arousals(apnea, hypopnea, snoring & RERAs)multiplied by the # hours of sleep. "Multiplied" should be "Divided"

The definition posted for Sleep efficiency (Total sleep time multiplied by time in bed) is INCORRECT (similar problem as comment on Index above): The CORRECT definition should be (either*):

a) Total sleep time divided by time in bed (expressed as a fraction). or b) Total sleep time divided by time in bed x 100 (expressed as a percentage).

• *both are correct, just different expressions of the same concept
