Diagnosed (at 39 years old) with UARS in March of 2010 after about 20 years of complaining of "sinus" headaches. Also have had freezing hands all the time, diarrhea more days than not, sometimes depression, some short-term memory issues, always searching for words that seem to be on the tip of my tongue, and always just considered myself a morning person. I hated going anywhere at night after work. Turns out I was just too tired but didn't know it.
Thank goodness my current husband (third and final!) husband is sympathetic, supportive and understanding. The others wouldn't have been.
Got my CPAP machine on 3/16/10. I really would like to feel better RIGHT NOW.
Machine: Respironics System One REMstar Auto CPAP w/ Humidifier
Masks: Mirage Swift LT for Her
Masks: Mirage Liberty with Nasal Pillows
I don't have software or a memory card reader yet. I actually didn't know I could get that. Learned something new from this forum.
I'm struggling with the masks. I have so many issues to deal with even before I put the mask on - rosacea, severe mouth ulcers, lip and nose blisters from oral herpes, TMJ problems causing bruxism requiring a mouth guard that makes it tough to close my mouth.
