So you mean to say I can solve two problems in one: bruxism AND apnea/hypopnea?
I was treated for TMJ with a custom mouth guard 20 years ago, weekly adjustments, lite chew diet, etc. I still grind at night but I'd always understood that if you'd had TMJ, then OTC night guards were contraindicated. But about a month ago I bit the bullet, so to speak, and purchased a night guard anyway. I haven't had dental insurance in seven years, so I want to do what I can to protect my teeth
My variable sleep patterns mean some nights I clench, other nights I mouth-breathe. Most nights I do both (I have a mental picture of my mouth working like an ornamental koi after typing that). Could the TapPap be an answer to both issues??

Re: Tap Pap users: tell me more...
I had been having some TMJ issues for a few months prior to the release of the Tap Pap mask (March 2013) and had been thinking of getting a mouth guard. When the Tap Pap came out I thought to myself. Kill 2 birds with one stone...the mouth guard for TMJ issues and the no head gear thing because I simply prefer the least amount of crap on my face as possible.
