In my recent sleep study it was noted that I did not get any REM sleep. I also suffer from Chronic Fatigue. I spent some time on Google and some legitimate sites suggest that REM sleep may be necessary for sleep to be restorative though no one was absolutely 100%, no questions asked sure about it.
Also noted was elevated Fast Frequency EEG levels which may be problematic as well.
My OSA is well controlled with my average OHI around one.
So my question does anyone have more insight on REM sleep and the consequences of not getting any along with the EEG levels? TIA
Nick
PS I am waiting to hear back from the Sleep Doc, but unfortunately it's taking forever.
