ResScan 4.5

Post by squid13 » Thu Aug 07, 2014 3:51 pm

Has anyone tried the new ResScan version 4.5? I see you can get it over at the Apnea Board. Scroll down about 3/4 of the first page.

Maybe it's a typo? I only see 4.3 from ResMed itself.

EDIT: OK, here's mention of 4.5 on a UK site. http://www.resmed.com/uk/products/ressc ... nc=dealers

I just got 4.5 installed. Same as with the other past versions in that it just installed over the previous version I was using and I didn't lose anything.
They did away with the creepy eyeball thing and gave it a face lift with some new colors.
The reports don't appear to have changed at all from what I can tell.
I couldn't find any notes as to what the new changes might have addressed but the reports haven't changed in ages. Usually version changes have been to addressed minor bugs or add some DME or doctor feature.

ResScan 4.5 looks like this. It has those arches on top right {ArchAngel should be happy} and the new icon with the sinusoidal segment:

4.5 version is even slower than the 4.3 version. Shucks!

The Stats table looks the same as before:

Graphs are also the same as before:

I have not used the chinstrap this night and the Leak graph shows it but the S9 did diagnose events without complaining with UNKNOWNs:

I think that I need to continue editing and cropping the bottom of the windows in the ScreenHunter 6.0 Free b/c those icons at the bottoms are live. At least for me.

Let me try this and capture the Active Screen only in the ScreenHunter:

Thanks for checking that out, Pugsy. I downloaded it, but planned to wait until this weekend to install it in case there were problems.
