Maybe im still at a low pressure. I changed my pressure to 15 now and imma see if i still feel like this the next few nights.

I just cant believe iv owned this thing for over 5 months and havnt slept with it on one full night =/

Are you using the ramp feature? That will start it at a lower pressure than your regular settings. And it may be starting too low.

Also, does it feel muggy? Maybe you need to lower the temp and/or humidity. That's the sense I get when I think of breathing inside a blanket. Too warm and humid.

Who would have thought it would be this challenging to sleep and breathe at the same time?

iv tired the ramp and i dont like it at all. i just go all into my max pressure.

Funny you say muggy feeling, i do feel that sometimes and i just set the humidity to 0 to get "cooler" air

I don't know how old you are, but for me, I got my cpap when I was 41. That means I slept every night (most nights anyway) for over 40 years and then all of a sudden I'm sleeping with this mask on. It takes time to get used to it. For me, the first 4-6 months were hell. I was like you, never getting a full night's sleep, waking up with the mask off, etc. If I slept 3 hours with the mask on it was a great accomplishment. 2 suggestions, and maybe you're already doing these, so keep doing them if you are: 1) wear the mask for about an hour or more during the day, like when you're watching TV or reading, or just relaxing. This will help your body get accustomed and cut down the anxiety that may be present when putting it on at night; 2) if you're a mouth-breather and use a full face mask, try learning to nose-breathe so you can try a nose mask. You may need a chin strap at first, but eventually you'll learn. Try that and see if it works. It took me quite a while, but eventually you'll get there. Don't give up.

If you are still pulling the mask off, then the one you are wearing isn't right for you. Keep trying to find the right one.

If you need a pressure of 15, you also might find a bipap to be more comfortable. Was your initial machine obtained via insurance or how was it purchased?

Ok, you might want to look into whether a bipap would be covered if your doctor decided that was appropriate. If this is the case, ask your doctor about the possibility of having a titration for one since you are up to 15 as a pressure. You might find it alot more comfortable which hopefully would lead to better sleep.
