Sore throat

Post by David79win@yahoo.com » Tue Jul 15, 2014 4:09 pm

So I am 34 male and in ok shape I run and swim and don't smoke but I'm still overweight at 250. Anyways I woke up this morning with a sore throat and it hurts to swallow. My pressure is set at 8 from the doc and I have a full mask. I am going to try and turn the humidity up tonight an she what happens. My throat feels on fire. I don't have asthmas just your normal everyday seasonal allergies. Any advice would be appreciated as this sucks with my throat. Thanks for your help and have a great week.

Sounds kinda like acid reflux.

When I was suspicious of this I got my little camera (it has a nice macro mode, auto focus, and on board flash) and took pictures of the back of my throat before starting sleep and in the morning.

My "cure" at the time was to raise the head of my bed a couple of inches.

Since then I have learned that life tension (stress and all) has a lot to do with this. Vitamin D seems to help a lot.

I would not go the PPI road, I like my stomach to be able to digest food well.
