For the nearly six months I've had xPAP therapy, I've ignored compliance numbers provided by Encore Pro, as no one is checking up on me anyhow. But I am curious as to why the compliance numbers I get from the "Patient Homepage" in Encore are consistently goofy and always low.
Here's what I see:
Compliance on Patient Homepage - 92.1%
Compliance from Compliance Report (all days since starting) - 98.8%
Total number of days since starting therapy - 155
Total number of days of recorded therapy - 154
Total number of days > 4 hrs therapy - 152
Number of days on current Smartcard - 40
Compliance on current Smartcard - 100%
What gives? Why do I see only 92.1% on the Patient Homepage? The threshold for compliance is set for 4 hours. Is this just another feature of the Encore Pro software? If so, is there any way to change it to something meaningful? Anybody else see something similar?
Not that this is important, or anything, just curious.
Regards,
Bill

If you goto sleep before midnight and turn the machine off before 4 hours, for a potty break and then restart the machine, it probably doesn't count the time at compliance. As the data is spread across two days.
I'm not sure, I very seldom get up, but I have had this happen. Jim.
Usually I don't hose up until 1 A.M. so no problems.

Use data to optimize your xPAP treatment!

Bill,
Yes, there is a way to set your "compliance hours". I can't tell you right off the top of my head where it's at, but if you poke around in some of the headings, I'm sure you can find it. You can adjust it up or down (don't know what the minimum is though). There's also a place/way to exclude dates, too.
If you can't find it, let me know and I'll see if I can find it again and be more specific.
Best wishes,
Den

Yeah, I knew about setting the threshold and I found that OK. It's set for 4.0 hours. I also know how to exclude dates (from the compliance view, I believe), but neither of those affects the compliance number that shows up on the Interaction List view.
In playing around with Encore Pro a little, I also noticed there is such a thing as Cross-Patient Reports. That allows you to show compliance in each of the various modes. The reports seem really goofy though.
Oh well, like I said, the whole thing with compliance is more a matter of curiosity. Guess I thought I didn't have anything better to do this dreary rainy day.

NightHawkeye,
There is also a setting for start of day for Encore Pro. It is under Patient Demographics. I had to change mine to get all of my night's sleep in 1 graph.
