Post by maxine.nodel » Thu Jul 10, 2014 11:42 pm

My cpap is set at 10 but I think it needs to be increased a bit. Can I change it only own?

To find out how, go to http://www.apneaboard.com/adjust-cpap-p ... tup-manual

You may also want to get the software so you can download your own data and see how well you're doing. Go to http://www.apneaboard.com/adjust-cpap-p ... r-computer

You should not change your pressure unless you have educated yourself in cpap therapy. I don't know what your comfort level is, but I suspect if you have to ask, you probably shouldn't be tinkering with the pressure. I would hope you would try to resolve the issues you have and increase your pressure as a last resort.

I agree. I believe you need to know WHY you're changing pressures and support the reasoning with data from the machine.

For example, if you're using a nasal mask and leaking therapy air out your mouth......and feel you need to raise pressures, all you're going to accomplish is leaking even more air out your mouth. You need to figure out and know what the problem is before making changes.
