different mask and straps

Any of you use a different mask and straps? I find that my Mirage Activa LT mask fits perfectly with Respironic TrueBlue straps. I am trying to convince my DME to order both for me separately, but usually I end up getting the mask and its superfluous straps, and ordering the Trueblue straps on Amazon.

Also, what can I do with all the leftover straps?

You can sell the extra straps on EBay or here at the forum...someone might want a spare. Some people's insurance won't buy new headgear until 6 months or longer and they might feel the need to have newer headgear sooner.

And yes...I have heard of people using the headgear/straps from one mask with another mask. It isn't extremely common but it isn't all that much of a rarity either.
