CMS50F
Trying unsuccessfully to upload my data from wrist unit CMS50F - downloaded manual and programs from internet - get hung up where it says "On the main menu interface, short press the button to move the menu choice bar to "Upload", then long press the button to choose whether to transmit the data to the computer for displaying and analyzing or not". Is the main menu interface on the wrist devise or on the SpO2 software? What button? I've tried short pressing everything I can see on both and nothing happens. This is the blue faced Pulse Oximeter. Any enlightenment would be most welcome. Ken

it sounds like they're talking about the oximeter,Ken Pulse Oximeter wrote:Trying unsuccessfully to upload my data from wrist unit CMS50F - downloaded manual and programs from internet - get hung up where it says "On the main menu interface, short press the button to move the menu choice bar to "Upload", then long press the button to choose whether to transmit the data to the computer for displaying and analyzing or not". I have a 50I and it just has to be on for the software to find it and dl data, so, that's different.

Re: CMS50F
Hi I have the old style (white face) model. For me this is what I do.
Attach USB cord to computer and oximeter
Turn oximeter on
Start up SPO2
Click on the New Sessions button (magnifying glass) on the bottom of SPO2 Review
Fill in what info I want on the name/weight area.
Make sure the connection is showing a com port (com3 for me)
Press ok. SPO2 Review shows a box stating Device Connected, Waiting for Data
On the CMS50 press and hold the white long button on the bottom of the face of the oximeter for about 2 seconds.
A new screen appears that has brightness at the top and near the bottom the word upload. tap the long white button on the bottom of the CMS50 screen and the menu bar moves down 1 entry at a time. When you get upload highlighted, press and hold the long white button again and the information is uploaded to SPO2 Review.
Please remember this is for the old style of the unit, so I cannot tell you if it will work with you, but it's probably similar.

Short Press means just press and release.
Long Press means press and hold for a while as suggested 2 seconds is about right.
