I understand and I hear you. I don't want to go into the details here...not the time and the place and all it would do is get me upset.Wulfman... wrote:And, there have been times when we didn't have insurance coverage......had to pay for things out-of-pocket.
Maybe that's I view things the way I do and be as resourceful as I can be......when I can be.

I sent you a PM... but it looks like there are some better options for you, like replacing the frame... PM me back (look at my profile at the left, there's a little box under the info with a PM in the middle.. just click on that). Since you're using a large mirage Quattro, my Air would probably be too small.

Re: DESPERATE NEED CPAP MASK
The one thing that I have never understood about this board and the thing that has kept me many times from posting questions if certain members attacking others for no reason. No one really knows if this lady had a real problem. What happened to trusting people. "Pugsy" comes on and as per her usual self makes a very generous offer of a free mask. In her post she refers to a situation with a relative. There is no need to call her relative names or degrade them. She has a heart of gold and most know that. This is just my two cents worth & my mouth probably should stay shut. I do have a question that I need to ask but debating now on whether to post it.

I totally agree with you but you should not let the "bad eggs" keep you from seeking help as there are many generous and kind people here with a wealth of knowledge. I myself stayed away for a while because I did not care for the nasty comments and attacks that were pretty frequent the last time I was here.ala5081 wrote:The one thing that I have never understood about this board and the thing that has kept me many times from posting questions if certain members attacking others for no reason. When I came back yesterday or the day before, I overreacted to an innocent remark from a nice person because I was already anticipating being attacked which was silly of me but there you have it. People really should think twice before they accuse someone or at least keep it to themselves unless they have solid proof.
Not to get political here, but ObamaCare is a farce and a failure. Yes, it has helped some people get insurance including me with the expansion of Medicaid, since I have very low income due to unemployment. However, if I go back to my regular income or close to it, I will not qualify for subsidies and will face a ridiculously expensive premium due to my age. Luckily, it will only be for a couple of months while my future employer's insurance kicks in. It does no good to have a "marketplace" if people fall through the cracks because of the exorbitant premiums. The financial requirements for Medicaid are very, very low. In the meantime, employers continue to raise deductibles and co-pays to pass the costs on to all of us. It's terribly hard to pay a deductible of 3,000 before insurance kicks in when you have a lot of medical issues!
It's a shame people feel they must judge. We all have our circumstances and our different barriers to getting what we need. While there are those of us that are very self-sufficient, some of us need a helping hand from time to time and I am so very grateful for people like Pugsy that understand that and make it a life mission to help others. I have to admit I reserve most of the help I offer to cats and dogs.

No idea - I've been wondering that myself. I made an offer but never heard back.
