Wow EncoreBasic is crap. It has reached near 1,700,000kb, and went back down, but it didn't even load anything!

Is this normal for EncoreBasic?
Look at how much memory this thing is using!! Is there something wrong with the program??? THe thing keeps increasing in memory used, it has been over five minutes already and there is still nothing shown for my data graphs!

All the Encore products are resource hogs. It's just something we live with.
Some computers have a more difficult time with the resources than others though.
I found the newer 2.4 version of Basic to be worse than the 2.2 version
BUT...I just started Basic 2.4 and told it to generate a detailed report for viewing and on my computer it is using 1/10 of what yours is using...100,000 to 130,000 K...so for your computer...your usage is NOT the norm...it's very much excessive.
Your computer might do better with Pro.
If you are using Basic 2.4..you might do better with 2.2.
