Primer: Analyzing events. Recovery from Leak -> CA Event

Post by urbanscribe » Mon Jun 23, 2014 10:07 am

is it correct to discard the following CA events which happen right after a recovery from a mask leak?
top = flow rate, events (cropped in the interest of space)
bottom line = leak rate

no

your leak rate went down, in some cases you indicated a good bit before the central, and then you stopped breathing. it didn't score a central because the leak went down, it scored a central because you quit respiring for too long.

Changing your sleep position during the night, whether a toss or a turn, can easily cause both leak-rate changes and transition centrals.

But my official answer is, I don't know. Squiggly lines confuse me.
