SleepyHead Issue Windows 8.1

Post by charlesrshell » Sun Jun 22, 2014 11:24 am

When I am using SleepHead program in Windows 8.1, in the Daily section when I select a different day to view in the calendar a window pops open (see pic) and I have to select close program. Everything else in the problem works OK. So I thought I would uninstall SleepyHead and start over but it was not listed in the programs listing. Does anyone know how to fix this issue, if not, how do I uninstall SleepHead so I can reinstall it? ResScan works great in Windows 8.1. Thanks for any help.

Which SleepyHead version are you using?

Version 0.9.5 testing was never actually "installed" in the manner so that it will show up in the programs list for an uninstall. To remove you just manually remove the folder from where ever you put it.

The bug you are describing with the crash when changing dates has been reported by a few others.
To remove SH you would have to manually remove it but unfortunately getting that same version again won't fix the issue.

There's a new testing version thread right now on the main page of the forum and mark has just released a new 0.9.6 testing version which I think will fix your problem. Still no installer though.
If you try to run the new version and get the missing dll message (I did) you might want to wait until Mark fixes it but I went and got the file from Microsoft link archangle provided.

Love it.
I see some pretty remarkable pressure changes with it on the reports but they don't bother me.
Pressure changes never bothered me with APAP either. Just lucky I guess.
My starting pressures while awake are so much lower than when on APAP or the regular BiPap it's just so comfortable and once asleep I don't care what the machine does.

WOW, that is great. I sure like my S9 AutoSet. I can't believe I used a straight blowing brick for 10 years.
