Best sleeping position for chipmunk cheeks?

Post by Dave007 » Fri Jun 20, 2014 8:28 pm

I have been getting chipmunk cheeks lately (air pouring out my lips and my cheeks getting puffed up). As I understand it the tongue needs to be on the roof of my mouth...

What is the best sleeping position to stop chipmunk cheeks? Sideways, completely flat, stomach?

With my tongue stuck to the roof of my mouth.
(please note my spelling of "tongue"--it is the only one sanctioned by English teachers)

Yes, that helps a lot.

It's going to vary from person to person.

For me, it's easiest if I'm curled on my side with my chin tucked as close to my chest as possible.

Yes at times the pressure is so great that it puffs up my cheeks and air pours out the side of my mouth. I then open my mouth wide and or close my mouth to stop it.
