Do NOT start out with one of these. They're very experimental and unproven at this time.cuteangel wrote:I was wondering someone mentioned to me about some apnea device implant which is fairly new. I cant seem to find much on it. do you know much about this? thanks
There are also a lot of quack devices for sleep apnea out there. Heck, at this point in time, I consider almost anything other than CPAP to be quackery unless you've tried CPAP and can't handle it.
Let me suggest you get your doctor to give you some sort of sleep aid to take in case you can't sleep in the sleep test. Take it only if you can't sleep. Sometimes the doctors don't want to do this for fear of affecting your results, but without it, you may end up not sleeping, and not getting any data at all.
