sleeping great

Post by stephmc » Mon Jun 16, 2014 8:34 am

I have been on my cpap therapy for a grand total of 10 nights, I must be extremely lucky because I am falling asleep within minutes, and sleeping the entire night without waking up until the alarm goes off. I haven't really felt any effects just yet, but I feel great knowing my body isn't being tortured every night. I was diagnosed with severe apnea, o2 falling to 75%, waking about approx, 56 times an hour. my blood pressure has dropped a few points so thats great to see. I just wanted to share my success with everyone, I was terrifed to start this, but I think I'm going to do just fine. someone said you end up like pavlovs dogs, and it's true, as soon as I put on the mask my body says "it's night night time!" Wishing everyone here a wonderful week!!

A lot of people have that experience. You don't find them here because they just move on with life. Of course the forum is more valuable to people with problems.

Good to hear your story.
