Adding extra humdity/water to Respironics PR one?

Post by Dave007 » Sun Jun 08, 2014 9:01 pm

I'm currently using Respironics BiPAP autoSV s60 machine with the heated humidity set to level 5.

Sometimes I wake up and all the water is used up in the humidity tank making my mouth extra dry.

Is it possible to add a larger humidifier tank to the machine or add in some other 3rd party device that will increase humidity for me?

Consider a room humidifier. If the air coming into the machine is more humid, the machine won't need to add as much water to the air to get to your setting.

Oddly enough, someone started another thread about this yesterday or so.
