The dentist is proposing this.

Do you have the science of effectiveness?

I have received opinions. Looking for science now. Is there mega-analysis? Or one good large study?
Doctor write: Age 42. Diagnosed with mild obstructive sleep apnea AHI 21, mild oxygen desaturations, moderate snorer. Overall health good.

I tried one and it almost ruined my jaw and my teeth. And it was very painful after a while.

Mine cost me $1500! I will stick to my cpap mask. Someday I know I will find the right one. I feel better with treatment. You have to go through a lot of prep work in your mouth before using an oral device

This might help:

Also, if you are seriously interested in a dental appliance, I would go to http://www.apneasupport.org/sleep-apnea ... n-f20.html and read posts by SleepDent. When I was considering an oral appliance at one point, he saved me big time from making some really stupid mistakes.
