Second sleep study

Post by starkadator » Sun Jun 01, 2014 2:14 pm

Hi. I am scheduled for my second sleep study tomorrow night to be fitted for cpap. I've tried to read as much as I can about cpap but I was wondering if there are any specific questions I should ask or if you have any suggestions that will help me get the most out of this study. I'm a bit nervous about this and I appreciate any help you can give. Thank you so very much.

Ask to try a few different masks and the ones that feel right be sure to get the name. Do NOT take any nap and make sure you are tired so it will be success for you.

If they offer to sell you a machine, don't be forced to take the CPAP they offer you if you are not sure it is fully data capable. You normally have your choice of where to get your equipment. Check with your insurance company to see who is in network.
