No, no....the 460 is not a full time APAP like the S9 AutoSet. For full time APAP you need the 560 model in the PR S1 line.
The 460 has limited APAP capabilities only..30 days at a time and I think maximum of 5 resets.

After all the APAP time is used up then it reverts to being a fixed cpap pressure machine. It is a full data machine though.
Thank you! The lady keeps mentioning the 460. Sooooo helpful to have this information!!!!

HealthyandHopeful,

Pugsy just caught a real blooper on my part. (Thanks Pugsy!)

I stupidly "thought" 560 while reading and typing 460. I apologize for the confusion. But hubby just came home and started the "what's for dinner conversation" and that distracted me I guess. We've sorted out dinner and it's on the stove and I just sat down and noticed Pugsy's correction.

As pugsy said before: The 460 is a full efficacy data STRAIGHT CPAP machine with very limited Auto PAP capacities. If the doc wants you on a FULL TIME Auto range of 7-12cm, then the 460 is NOT going to work.

Clarify with the DME that the doc wants you on AUTO 7-12 FULL TIME, not for a mere 30-day trial.

Do NOT accept the 460 since it won't run at your new prescription full time for the next five years.

Do accept a 560 System One Auto CPAP. It will run at your new prescription for as long as you have the machine (or until the script is changed)
