FYI
My ENT recommended the "NeilMed Sinus Rinse" It is available at Walgreens as well as other stores. My sinuses felt stuffy sometimes without a runny nose. The ENT explained that the air blowing into my nostrils caused some irritation and that several patients he had used this , its a therapeutic saline nasal irrigation with moisturization for daily nasal hygiene. Use 2-3 times a day.. My sinuses do feel clearer... ( the mixture is sodium chloride and Sodium Bicarbonate. however I do not see what is referred to a moisture inhancer) Just thought you might want to know..
What say you?

Some of us have found sinus irrigation to be beneficial. If at some point you find that your current method isn't getting the job done for you, you might also consider the Grossan Nasal Irrigator.

I use the Grossan nightly. In combination with nasal pillows it keeps my sinuses open all night long.

Bill

You are using a heated humidifier and that is the correct first step. The dme had mine set on a midrange humidity level and I took it up a notch per night until I had no sinus irritation in the morning. In the winter it is set on the next to highest setting and in our humid summers I take it down to a midrange setting.
If you still have irritation, the NeilMed Sinus Rinse is a good product. Personally I prefer Sinucleanse, http://www.sinucleanse.com.
