New Resmed S9 and new DME

Post by mldenison » Thu May 08, 2014 8:25 am

I just picked up my S9, H5i humidifier, ClimateLine hose and P10 mask.

I'd purchased an S9 setup some 4 years ago.

I'm retired but my wife, a nurse, has great medical insurance. It picks up all the CPAP equipment at 100%.

I figured I'd pick up a new system and keep my old one for a backup.

Because my sleep study was probably 12 years ago, and my current doctor had no record of it, I had to do a three night at-home study. Boy, was that miserable. Three nights without the S9 was rough.

In any case, everything was approved and I just picked up the gear from American HomeHealthCare. Plus they'll mail all the consumables on a generous schedule directly billed to insurance.

No money out of pocket so I'm really pleased.
