CPAPtalk - First Ripples of Revolution?

Were you able to discern where she stands on the issue? That is, other than blah blah blah blah blah, and warm fuzzies? She seems soundly committed to both sides of the issue, or more. And fairness. And accessibility. Otherwise, a good lesson in tap-dancing. I'm considering writing a letter urging support for the opposite viewpoint. I wonder which form letter I'll get. Anyone care to wager?

Good point, Ric! Hmmm...I'll wager that you'll get same response....because I suspect that the people who do the reading only skim the subject and place it in the 'subject matter' response pile.
I'm a scarred-for-life former Federal Civil Servant who took early retirement due to...uh...ummmmm "couldn't take it any longer" problems! I would have been better off if I hadn't worked 'on the outside' prior to joining silly-service, then I wouldn't have known any better, ha ha.
I might add that I lived in San Diego for 12 years, and had respect for Diane Feinstein; haven't kept up lately.

Well, having lived in Ka-LEE-FOR-nee-ya for nearly all my life, I think Feinstein does a decent job, especially considering the alternatives that crop up every six years. But I, too, noted that she came out firmly in favor of both sides. I guess the tempatation to placate both sides of an issue right up to (and sometimes including) a direct vote was just too strong to resist.
Getting old doesn't make you 'forgetful'. Having too damn many things to remember makes you 'forgetful'.
Awwwww.....
Ric & Bookbear,
You must not have sent a large enough campaign contribution to "I'm going to take all your guns" Feinstein with your letter.....to get a commitment.
It never ceases to amaze me how these politicians can sit on a fence and try to apease both sides of the issues.
I'm just glad she's not MY Senator.
(but we've had our share of "fence-riders", too....)
