Trying to send Pugsy a PM

Post by apw5746 » Fri May 02, 2014 9:16 am

I'm trying to send her a PM, but it's just sitting in my inbox. Am I doing something wrong? My outbox say 0% out of 1000, and I've only sent 56 PM's

Until she actually retrieves the note it will appear in the outbox. That's standard.

You said that your message is sitting in your Inbox. If true that means you accidentally sent the message to yourself. I've done that once or twice. It happened because I hit "Reply" when in a message that I had actually sent to someone. So by hitting "Reply" I became the recipient.

Open that message and see if you are both the sender and recipient -- then you'll know if that's what happened.

I don't hate cats...I have a Bengal inside and one of the outside cats gave me 4 babies a month ago. I love cats.

Your message to me wasn't read until just a couple of minutes ago...I have been away from my computer today...lots to do outside so won't be around much today or next few days.
So any message to me sits in your outbox until I read it...then it will show up in your sent box...I sent you a response to the message you sent me..

Bengals! I've got two ... The boy (18 lbs!) thinks he's a dog and is a big lovable dufus, his sister (8 lbs) knows she's a cat and keeps her brother in line most of the time. Sorry for going OT...

I meant to say outbox. The gold and fly fishing forums I'm on automatically show up as sent as soon as I submit them. However, for our forum, at least I now understand why it stays there. I also sent one to forum admin and it's still sitting there, but, again, I understand why.

I've got a male, 4 paw declawed, that I got 4 years ago from the local shelter here. The shelter guesstimated he was about 2 and 1/2 then. He replaced one I had for 20 an 1/2 years. Had him from a kitten. Most affectionate cat I've ever had. Cried like a baby when I put him down. Told vet & staff I never want to be assigned to that exam room again. You have to be a pet owner to understand why we feel the way we do. They accept us into their pride, pack, whatever, and you accept them into your family. Current one is very aloof, but extremely smart. Only likes me when it's feeding time, or HE wants something. Also hates it when I get in his space. It's his way or the highway. I assume he was abused by a man. He was picked up outside in a park just chillin and hanging out.

If I lived in the country on a farm, I would have barn cats for the inside, owls for the outside, and a couple of strictly indoor cats. If you've watched my avatars, you can tell I'm a cat person.

Thanks to everyone who responded, and for the positive comments.

Pat
