Melatonin Controlled Releae

Does CR mean it lasts longer or takes longer to take effect? I have trouble remembering to take it. I use GNC brand (they have both CR and regular).

I believe that means "Controlled Release" as you've noted in the thread title *smile*, and means that it will be released over time. So it should last longer in your system. That's a good thing for something like melatonin. With something like melatonin, you can get all different dosages per pill. You should use the smallest dose that accomplishes your purpose. So I'd start with .3mg, and take more of those if you need to. I'm currently using .3mg, and that is enough for me.
