Measured how?

In whose body?

How many micro events are also present?

AHI measures one kind of event. There are many.

In general they like to see under 5 per hour.

In fact it is on indicator amongst many that indicate how CPAP is working or not.

Measured after a night on a CPAP machine.

It's the number per hour, taken over days, weeks, etc., that counts... not the # per night, because we all sleep for different lengths of time, some take bathroom breaks that therefore aren't reflected in the 'night', others are a bit uneven in general throughout a night, etc. etc., so no one should go by what happens on any one night, but by a consensus of e.g. at least a week's results ... on a per hour basis.

The number that's commonly used to indicate good treatment is 5 per hour. But as mentioned above, don't get too excited about one nights numbers.
