SleepyHead results

Post by Sharrykb » Mon Apr 21, 2014 8:03 am

I have been using my machine for 4 nights now. I have been successful at using it all night - about 7.5 to 8.5 hours. I'm not "feeling like a million bucks" but I do feel better than I did before so that is a good thing.

I have taken screen shots of the data from last night to post on here but I have to admit that I just can't seem to figure out how to add it to this post. Can someone explain it to me, please?

Once you have the screenshots made, follow the instructions on this thread for getting them into a post:

You have the put the images on some place like Photobucket and then link to the images.
Explained in this thread with examples.

Thank you! Pugsy. I had already removed the unnecessary charts but you mention that you can resize so all charts fit on one image. How do you resize?

To resize just take the mouse cursor and hover it on the bottom line of each graph until you see a little short double line...then click and drag to resize. SleepyHead will remember it so once you get the graphs just like you want them you don't have to do it again. We don't want them too tiny but they don't need to be the size where only 3 fit on the viewing screen.
Main ones are the events graph, the flow rate graph, pressure line graph if using auto adjusting pressures, and leak graph.

Edit: I see you figured it out but will leave instructions for others in case they are needed.

Here are the results from last night. The other nights look very similar. My pressures are currently set at 5 to 20.

I can't seem to get the photo to appear here but maybe a link will work?

Copy/paste the IMG link into body of post here and image will show up without having to link to it.
Like this.. Click preview to check to make sure. Snores aren't very exciting..how does the Flow limitation graph look?

Pugsy, that is what I thought I tried to do 3 times. It didn't work so I must be doing something wrong but I have no clue what I am doing wrong.

I have no idea what a flow limit should look like so I will try to post it here.

I tried to post the image and it just isn't showing up so here is a link again. Sorry!

Not sure what you are doing wrong....are you trying to use the forum editor brackets ...you don't have to now...we used to have to use them.

I can copy that IMG line (last one in the box of 4 addresses) and get this image of your Flow limitation graph which really isn't horribly exciting either. Worse is with taller spikes and the more they are closer to the top of the graph the worse they are.
Yours aren't bad at all. Looks a bit more active in this image simply due to the scale we are looking at it. If using ResScan which doesn't zoom in so close it wouldn't look nearly so active.

Looks like your therapy is actually doing quite well at least on paper.

Pugsy, I'm not trying to be a pain here, but could you tell me step by step exactly how you are getting the image to appear here? I've tried with the img brackets and without and it just won't work for me. I have to be missing a step somehow but I can't figure out what I'm missing.

Don't use the IMG brackets from the forum editor.

Try just putting mouse over that address....copy it....then come to your forum composition page and just right click mouse and choose paste...don't add anything to what you paste into the body of your text. You should see a copy of the address in code...can't see the image itself unless you click submit or preview.

That's all I do now...put mouse cursor over the IMG address line...copy that line...move to my blank forum text page and right click mouse and choose paste. I don't try to use the forum editor IMG brackets because the address that I copied already includes those brackets. We used to have to use those brackets and with other photo hosting sites...they are still needed but not with Photobucket now.

Thank you Pugsy for taking the time to explain the steps to me. Unfortunately the way you say you did it is one of the ways I already tried to do it and it didn't work for me. All I get in the preview box is the address I copied and pasted.

Hmmm....then I don't know what the problem is but don't worry about it. Just provide the link and I (or someone else) can fix it for you if you wish. It isn't a big deal.
Sounds like maybe the IMG address isn't complete for some reason. I need to be in front of your computer and you live a little too far away for house call.
Sounds like you are doing it like I do but for some reason it just isn't working. When I can sit down and work through various scenarios I can often figure out what is going on but it this instance I don't know what is going on and can't play with things to try to figure it out.
